A crafty fox made from embossed copper sheet with a vintage china saddle and brass whiskers is scurrying through a meadow of silver seed heads and verdigris leaves, he is assembled on a vintage iron key. The assemblage is 100mm high and comes in a pretty gift box with a signed certificate.
'The Thought Fox’ by Ted Hughes is one of my favourite poems. It inspired me to come up with this assemblage but instead of ‘sets neat prints into the snow’ mine is on the run through a summer meadow.
