A beautiful brass tailed birdie with an embossed copper sheet body and china wing perches on his gently rocking antique key. His brass wired cage is fixed onto a fragment of a vintage leather bound book with old handmade porcelain flowers. To crown it all is a mother of pearl button and a pennant fashioned in brass sheet.

I love our native birds and wanted to create a little home for my new fan tailed birdie. Although I hate seeing birds imprisoned in cages, mine is open at the front so he can fly away whenever he wants. it's just a little resting place while he sings us a tune.
