An adorable little mouse made from embossed copper sheet and glass heart button with a vintage china ear and twisted brass tail with fine whiskers. He sits next to a copper and brass tree with clusters of beads, all coated in crystalline verdigris and assembled on a piece of vintage tea plate.
I love old English tapestries and their imagery, this Little Nut Tree comes from the Bradford Table Carpet made in the 17th Century and now on display at the V&A. This wee mouse likes it too wishing he could get hold of one of those nuts.
