This quaint wee owl is created from copper sheet and he is sporting a pretty china wing with a brass beak and Mother of Pearl button eyes, he perches up in his copper tree which grows out of a patterned fragment of china plate, then finished with crystalline verdigris. In the sky sits a pewter moon. It is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 220mm x 260mm.
Drifting off to sleep at night there is nothing nicer than the gentle hooting of an owl calling out into the dark, this is how I imagine to my little vocal friend.
