This Highland sweetie's coat is made from embossed copper and brass sheet, with beads for eyes. She is fashioning a pretty headress of handmade porcelain vintage flowers with sprigs of leaves of patinated copper.
The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 230mm x 280mm.
Living in a remote part of the Scottish Borders, I am lucky enough to have these jolly cows in my next village. On crisp frosty days you see the steam rising from their cosy thick coats condensing in the chilly air.
