This cute little robin is made from embossed copper foil with a pretty piece of vintage china for his wing. He sits on a brass perch with glass beads and copper holly leaves. Flitting around him is a copper butterfly. The copper robin and leaves are patinated with a crystalline verdigris then strung with a piece of gossamer ribbon. It is 80mm across and comes in a gift box with a signed booklet.
As you may have noticed I love our native birds, so when making my Christmas hangings I had to include a wee puffed up robin sporting a pretty china wing naturally.
