These two birdies are made from embossed copper sheet with vintage china for their wings, they have coiled brass beaded tails and soldered tin beaks. Balancing on the undergrowth of silver coloured seed heads surrounded by handmade porcelain flowers and clusters of beads. The butterfly has wings of china pieces and brass antennae, they are coated in crystalline verdigris and assembled on a piece of vintage tea plate. The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 330mm x 330mm.
