This little embossed copper birdie with his china fragment wing sits a top branches of copper wire blossom with patinated copper leaves. The blossom is made from vintage stamps with mica powder dusted over, to give them a shimmery look.
The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a white contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 285mm x 285mm.
This is a one off Beastie Original so the images represent it exactly.
I found an old box of stamps in my vintage shop and although it has taken me a few years to work out what to do with them, I think they make perfect blossom flowers x
