These two cute little blackbirds are made from embossed copper sheet with a pretty china wing and a soldered tin beak, they are then finished in Indian ink and crystalline verdigris. Strutting and perching on a vintage iron key with red glass strawberries and sprigs of patinated copper leaves. It is 110mm from top to bottom and comes in a gift box with a signed booklet.
This year with the drought the blackbirds have raided my fruit garden leaving me very little. But you can't help loving them.
