This pretty blackbird is created from embossed copper sheet with a vintage china wing tinned beak and brass twirly legs. He perches in amongst the Strawberry Patch made from glass red beads and a sprig of verdigris copper leaves. Copper stars stud the sky. It is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 220mm x 260mm.
The Blackbirds are one of the greediest birds in my garden and help themselves freely to my bird table goodies. Although this one has sneaked under the Strawberry netting!
